TIN's Story

Born in Columbia, South Carolina to a single mother, on November 4, 1990, a future leader took his first glimpse at the impoverished world that would inspire his craft. TIN grew up in Hopkins, SC, a small rural town, and at a young age, grew a passion for music and entertainment as he began to sing on the church choir, write poetry and short songs, and perform in musical and theatrical productions in school. After being influenced by the music of the 90's and discovering ways to produce beats with digital instruments and record himself, TIN later established himself as an artist.

DJ's and producers have described TIN's music as "soulful" and labeled him as a "visionary" and a "southern conscious rapper", giving audiences a memorable, electrifying show every time.

TIN is known to convey messages through his elaborate choice of words and gives insight to the life of a street savvy intellectual. With gritty political stances, and firm beliefs, TIN culminates the spirituality and emotions of gospel and soul music with the harshness and reality of rock and rap music thus creating what TIN calls "Rebel Muzikk.
